Shocker! New polls show that Trump’s approval rating is going down. A poll from Real Clear Politics said that 30% of those polled had a favourable view of Donald Trump; while 63% had a negative view of him. An NBC news poll said that 70% of women had an unfavorable opinion of Trump. This was BEFORE his campaign manager got arrested for battery. He is also doing poorly among black and Hispanic voters. The RNC said that Republicans should have courted these two groups better in the “autopsy” of the 2012 election.
Are you really surprised though? He has been saying nasty things about people since the beginning of his campaign! Of course people are going to hold negative views of him!
This week he dropped a BOMBSHELL comment about abortion. He is going even further than the other candidates on the issue. He said he thinks women should be punished for getting the procedure, but he doesn’t think men should receive any punishments for these unwanted pregnancies. Trump has said plenty of other nasty things about women as well, but this is his biggest mistake yet. He has now pissed off people on both sides of the abortion spectrum.
Also this week, he has been talking about bringing back torture. He even went so far as to call the Geneva Convention a “problem.”
He has called for banning Muslims entering the United States…except his rich friends of course…
One of the first campaign speeches Trump gave included him calling Mexicans rapists. So, naturally Hispanic people think that the GOP is hostile to them.
Trump has also been endorsed by the KKK. When David Duke first came out for Trump, The Donald said it would be “unfair” to disavow them.
In case you feel I’m leaving out a group…Here is a comprehensive list of the groups he has offended. These are just a few of the many reasons his poll numbers are probably going down.
Hopefully, all of these gaffes he has made will keep him FAR, FAR away from the Oval Office.
