Guess Whose Campaign Manager Just Got Arrested

Trump’s campaign is known for its chaos and rowdiness. After all, what’s a Trump rally without some kicks and shoves? So it doesn’t come as surprise when members of Trump’s campaign team prove they only learn from the best. On Tuesday, Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was arrested in Florida and charged with simple battery.

According to a report by the Jupiter Police Department, Lewandowski intentionally grabbed and bruised the arm of Michelle Fields, a former reporter for the conservative news outlet Breitbart, on March 8 at a Trump campaign event.

Apparently, Fields attempted to ask the presidential candidate a question following his speech. As she held up her cellphone to record Trump’s answer, she “felt someone yank her left arm,” Lewandowski’s arrest report stated. After the grab, the reporter fell back, but caught herself from falling.

According to Trump, Lewandowski did nothing wrong.

On a screenshot posted onto Twitter, it is clear that Lewandowski is grabbing Fields’ arm.

In a tweet, the frustrated campaign manager claims to have never even met the reporter.

Whether or not Lewandowski remembers grabbing Fields’ arm, it’s clear in the YouTube video posted online that he was trying to pull the reporter away from Trump. Not only is this proof that Trump’s campaign manager is just as rude as the presidential hopeful, but it makes me question how many other reporters he has prevented from getting responses out of Trump.

Reporters have a right to ask candidates questions, and if Lewandowski doesn’t like it, well, he can spend some time behind bars. Although the incident is classified as simple battery, there’s no telling what Lewandowski is capable of when not in the public eye.
