Target has made many conservatives mad by coming out in favor of transgender people using the bathroom that corresponds to their gender identity. Some states are passing bathroom bills restricting transgender people using the bathroom they want to.
Many conservative Christians are boycotting Target over this policy, which is perfectly fine. Some are sending men into the women’s restrooms at Target to test people. But, another group of Christians has taken it a step further. They went into a Target in Tennessee and started preaching at people that were shopping there.
I believe that everyone has the right to protest, but shouting at people while they are trying to shop is harassment.
One was wearing an obnoxious “Jesus will judge you” shirt and holding the camera while another was yelling nasty things at the store. They were escorted out of the store quickly, and they kept preaching from outside the store.
Here are some of the things they were spewing:

It’s time to repent. It’s time to get right with God. Rip up your Target cards. It’s time to get rid of the rainbow! The rainbow belongs to God, not you!
IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO REPENT! IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD! IT’S TIME [unintelligible]…
Jesus Christ is going to come back, he’s gonna destroy, he’s gonna destroy… [something about being ashamed to work there]. There’s got to be an honest living, an honest living that you can make. There’s an honest living that you can make. An honest living and a better job. Target is the lowlife of a place to work. You need to repent. …
Homosexuals shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. That’s your Good News today. The God for Jesus Christ is going to destroy everyone of you unless you repent and believe the gospel. God condemns all ungodliness. He’s gonna destroy…”
I guess screaming at people is their tactic. It tells me that they probably don’t have a very logical argument.
