Melania Gives UN Speech On Bullying And Gets Torn Apart On Twitter (TWEETS)

First Lady Melania Trump spoke Wednesday at a United Nations luncheon on the power of the Golden Rule, and among her comments, she had this to say:

“Together we must acknowledge that all too often it’s the weakest, most innocent and vulnerable among us, our children, who ultimately suffer the most from the challenges that plague our society.

“Whether it is drug addiction, bullying, poverty, disease, trafficking, illiteracy or hunger, it is the children who are hit first, and hardest, in any country.”

She’s right, of course. Far too often children are the victims of horrible fates which no one would wish on their worst enemy. But considering that her husband is known for being a bully, what Mrs. Trump said also rings hollow and proves her own hypocrisy, as lots of folks on Twitter reminded her:

Maybe next week we can have Donald Trump do a seminar on how to remain faithful to your spouse. He’s got plenty of experience in doing the opposite.
