WATCH Mitch McConnell Get His A*s Handed To Him At A Raucous Town Hall Meeting

Republicans are learning all about karma first-hand as they return to their districts and face angry constituents who are upset that they may soon be losing their health insurance and the fact that Donald Trump is acting like a lunatic.

Several years ago, it was Democrats who got verbally assaulted at town hall meetings by voters who feared that President Obama was a “socialist” and that Obamacare would be hasten the advent of “death panels” to decide when it was time for granny to meet her eternal reward.

On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell–aka Turtleman–got a tongue lashing during a town hall in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. An angry woman stood up and told McConnell:

“The last I heard, these coal jobs are not coming back and now these people don’t have the insurance they need because they’re poor! And they work those coal mines, and they’re sick, the veterans are sick, the veterans are broken down, they’re not getting what they need.”

Then the woman brought the house down when she added:

“If you can answer any of that, I’ll sit down and shut up, like Elizabeth Warren.”

Yes, that was indeed a reference to McConnell’s objection to Senator Warren reading a letter from Coretta Scott King during debate on the nomination of Jeff Sessions to be attorney general.

Over 1,000 people showed up at the  Lawrenceburg Chamber of Commerce for the town hall, and as is so typical of the smug, condescending McConnell, when someone complained about his failure to criticize the so-called president, the majority leader sniped:

“Winners make policy and losers go home.”

I guess Mitch thinks that’s gonna work real well for him and his GOP buddies in the midterm elections. But if the voters remain this angry heading into 2018, Republicans could well be toast and McConnell will once again be the minority leader.
