Delusional Trump Spawn Says Shutdown Is Good For Daddy Politically (VIDEO)

Even though his father said back in 2013 that government shutdowns reflect badly on the sitting president, the doofus son of Donald Trump, Eric, went on Fox News Saturday evening to try and spin the current shutdown as a good thing for his daddy.

Calling into Jeanine Pirro’s weekly show, Eric declared:

“Honestly, I think it’s a good thing for us, Judge, because people see through it.”

The spawn of Trump went on to add:

“I mean, my father has had incredible momentum. He has gotten more done in one year than arguably any president in history. How do they divert from that message? How do they save their own party when they don’t have any leadership, they don’t have any good candidates out there, they don’t have a message of their own? How do they do that? They obstruct, they distract, they try and place blame.”

Ironic that Eric would say the Democrats have no leadership when his own father currently has an approval rating hovering around 35 percent and leaders in his party said earlier this week they had no idea what the president stood for in the way of legislation that could have avoided the shuttering of the federal government.

The White House and its Congressional allies are trying desperately to blame the shutdown on Democrats, but it doesn’t appear their efforts are working. A Washington Post/ABC News poll released on Friday showed that Americans blame the GOP and White House for the impasse by a 20-point margin.

So while Eric and other administration surrogates spread their lies and doubletalk across the airwaves, the American public is clearly not buying their BS. When you control both houses of Congress and the White House, you should be able to pass a temporary spending bill. But not when you have a man as incompetent as Donald Trump leading your party.
