Close Ally Of Trump Says It’s ‘Obvious’ Mueller Is About To Take Down The Donald

The official line out of the White House and attorneys defending President Trump regarding the investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is this: There’s nothing to see here and the whole investigation will be over very soon.

But longtime Trump friend and adviser Roger Stone begs to differ.

Stone, who is currently writing a book entitled The Fall of Trump, told Gabriel Sherman of Vanity Fair that Mueller is indeed about to bring down the president:

“It’s painfully obvious Mueller will bring charges. The theory is Mueller will indict him on some process-related matter.”

But rather than blame Mueller — something Congressional Republicans and their puppets at Fox News do 24/7, Stone attacked Trump’s attorneys:

“The only people who don’t seem to know it are Ty Cobb, [John] Dowd, and the president.”

Asked about Trump’s cabinet possibly invoking the 25th Amendment and taking Trump out of office as unfit to serve, Stone claimed that only two members of the cabinet would vote in opposition to such a plan.

The pending book, Stone alleges, is one he hopes he doesn’t have to write, but he isn’t optimistic on that count:

“I hope it’s a book I don’t have to publish. I just don’t think Trump is being told the truth about how bad things are.”

What Stone neglected to mention is that if indeed this is the fall of Donald Trump, it will be his own fault. Donald Trump has put himself in legal jeopardy. We should be so lucky as to get rid of him, and soon.
