On Saturday, Iowa Congressman Steve King (R) was so proud that he’d just hosted Donald Trump Jr. that he thought he’d go on Twitter and brag some:
Might wanna keep guns away from these guys, they keep shooting themselves in the foot. #PeasantHunt pic.twitter.com/EbSygesP6G

King later deleted the original tweet with “peasant hunt,” but it was too late. Twitter users were already busy crafting their best bon mots for the anti-immigrant, racist congressman:
What happened to the peasant hunt, figured it was more your style

The poor farmers of Iowa should be very worried if their Rep thinks so little of them that he has an annual peasant hunt. https://t.co/DF8dWbux5K

I, for one, think we should end peasant hunts. Look at these poor bastards. They are people too @stevekingia. pic.twitter.com/ZCahcfWPJp

Steve King tweeted about hunting the poor by accident but you know some republicans got really stoked thinking it was something one could do pic.twitter.com/TzcB7RGJxK

This has to be the greatest typo in Twitter history https://t.co/mu9Tx5HXjf

Apparently it’s not just the Trumps who make complete asses of themselves when they go on Twitter. Just being in close proximity to them makes everyone several IQ points dumber.
