After news broke Friday evening that a grand jury has issued the first criminal charges in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into the 2016 election, cable news and the internet lit up with discussion of the latest developments in the case. Except, of course, for Fox News.
Fox continued to run with the discredited narrative of the Clinton campaign paying for a dossier of information about Donald Trump and the totally debunked story that Clinton turned over 20 percent of American uranium rights to Russia.
Social media noticed Fox’s total silence on the news of indictments, and there was lots of grief for the right-wing media outlet:

Fox & DT propaganda machine in full attack mode. Might it be the Mueller indictment? They don't know whether to shit or wind their watch.

As Mueller news breaks here's A CLOSER LOOK reminder at what Fox News is focused on (hint: Hillary) https://t.co/H2x3kV5yM2

Quite interesting, given the bombshell tonight, to reflect on the Uranium One and Clinton 'collusion' reporting these last few days.

CNN: Mueller has filed charges
MSNBC: Mueller has filed charges.
Literally everyone: Mueller filed charges
Fox: Mueller should resign.

Fox News is adopting the ostrich approach to the news of criminal charges. They just stick their heads in the sand and start humming a tune by Lee Greenwood. Oh well, that means more popcorn for the rest of us.
And Mueller starts handing out indictments 😉 pic.twitter.com/DxDLNmp49V
