Trump Doubles Down On NFL Protests – Calls For Boycott Of All Games (TWEETS)

President Trump was up early on Sunday morning, and rather than act like a statesman, he decided to be a bullying juvenile yet again, doubling down on his criticism of athletes who exercise their First Amendment rights and refuse to stand when the National Anthem is played:

Don’t you just love how a man who may have committed treason feels a need to slam someone for taking a knee when a song is played? Apparently Trump forgets all of the reprehensible things he’s said about the United States and its citizens over the years. Let’s travel back in time for a moment and take a look at a few of those examples:

In February, during an interview with Fox News, Trump said this when Bill O’Reilly called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer”:

“What do you think? Our country’s so innocent?”

Trump repeatedly tried to suggest that former President Barack Obama hadn’t been born in the United States, and tweeted out this in 2012:

On the topic of women, Trump has said:

“Women have one of the great acts of all time. The smart ones act very feminine and needy, but inside they are real killers. The person who came up with the expression ‘the weaker sex’ was either very naive or had to be kidding. I have seen women manipulate men with just a twitch of their eye — or perhaps another body part.”

There was also plenty of commentary from social media in response to Trump’s latest idiocy:
