Deranged Donnie’s Monday Tweetstorm Features Attacks On Media, Low Poll Numbers

If new Chief of Staff John Kelly thought he’d be able to exert some discipline on President Trump when it comes to his social media habits, that hope was dashed early Monday morning when Trump went on a tweetstorm that ranged over several topics: the media, his historically low poll numbers, and even Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal. Take a look:

A couple of quick points:

  • The famed “Trump base” is maybe 25-30 percent of voters. That means 70 to 75 percent of Americans don’t support the illegitimate head of state.
  • The idea that Trump, who used “bone spurs” in his heels as his way out of serving in Vietnam, would criticize someone else regarding military exploits is laughable. Blumenthal actually served in the Marine Corps Reserves for six years. Trump, meanwhile, was shipped off to a military school by his daddy and never wore the uniform of any branch of the United States military.

Trump’s demented rantings on social media were quickly rebutted:

All this would be so much funnier if it wasn’t so damn pathetic.
