Huckabee Makes Offensive ‘Short Bus’ Comment And Has To Issue Hasty Apology (TWEETS)

Few people are more adept at putting their foot in their mouth than former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who is once again in hot water for remarks he made Sunday during an appearance on Fox News.

Speaking with host Maria Bartiromo about new White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, who replaces Reince Priebus, Huckabee commented:

“If you have four stars on your shoulder, you’re not a slow learner, you didn’t ride the short bus. He will be fine.”

“Riding the short bus” is an expression which is used to demean or make fun of students with learning disabilities or other special needs children.

Much like the president he supports, Mike Huckabee is a hypocrite and a bully. He’s also a pretend Christian who needs to learn what it means to be humble, meek, and loving.
