The Mooch Is Out–After Only 10 Days, Anthony Scaramucci Is Toast (VIDEO)

The Mooch is out.

After only ten days as President Donald Trump’s communications director, Anthony Scaramucci is the latest casualty in a series of administration firings and resignations.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement Monday afternoon:

“Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House communications director. Mr Scaramucci felt it was best to give chief of staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team. We wish him all the best.”

Trump’s new Chief of Staff, former Homeland Security head, Gen. John Kelly was the administration official responsible for Scaramucci’s removal.

Scaramucci made waves Thursday when he made disparaging and vulgar remarks about other administration members in a New Yorker interview, suggesting then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus was mentally unhinged and would be fired, which he was the following day.

About Priebus, Scaramucci said:

“Reince is a f****** paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.”

He also criticized longtime Trump aide Steve Bannon, about whom he said:

“I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own c***. I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f****** strength of the President. I’m here to serve the country.”

Scaramucci came to the Trump White House July 21, motivating press secretary Sean Spicer to resign that day in opposition.

Scaramucci used to be a strong supporter of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton before switching loyalties to Trump.

In 2012, he said about Clinton, whom he called the “real deal:”

“I hope she runs [in 2016], she is incredibly competent.”

Early into Trump’s run for the presidency, Scaramucci called Trump “anti-American” and “another hack politician.”

On a segment on Fox Business in August 2015, he said about Trump:

“I’ll tell you who he’s gonna be president of, you can tell Donald I said this: the Queens County Bullies Association. You are an inherited-money dude from Queens County. Bring it.”

A Harvard law school graduate and a former Goldman Sachs banker, Scaramucci founded the global hedge fund SkyBridge Capital in 2005, which he sold in 2017, anticipating a role in the Trump administration.

Recently, Scaramucci’s pregnant wife Deirdre filed for divorce. Scaramucci missed the birth of his second child last Monday because he was traveling with Trump.
