New White House Communications Chief Blasted Trump As ‘An Inherited-Money Bully’ In 2015 (VIDEO)

They say politics makes for strange bedfellows, and that axiom is certainly on full display today as White House Press Secretary/Communications Director Sean Spicer has resigned and former Goldman Sachs banker Anthony Scaramucci has been named Communications Director for the Trump administration.

Why did Spicer resign? Was the job just too much for him to take? Possibly, but the New York Times is reporting that Spicer:

“Vehemently disagreed with the appointment of New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.”

As for why Scaramucci was chosen to do a job he has no training or experience for, Politico notes that the president “thinks (Scaramucci) is really good at making the case for him…He loves him on TV.”

And of course, image is everything to Donald Trump.

But the appointment of Scaramucci is even more ironic in light of the fact that as recently as 2015, the new head of White House communications appeared on Fox Business Network and dismissed Trump as a “hack.”

During a debate as to Trump’s chances of ever being elected president, Scaramucci also called Trump “very divisive” and predicted the Trump campaign would “eventually implode.”

Looking into the camera, Scaramucci also had this message for Trump:

“I’ll tell you who he’s going to be president of. You can tell Donald I said this: the Queens County Bullies Association. You’re an inherited-money dude from Queens County. Bring it, Donald. Bring it.”

Oh how times change! You have to wonder if Trump is so desperate for someone (anyone!) to lead his propaganda department and lie on command that he picked Scaramucci to handle one of the most important jobs in the entire administration. And why did Scaramucci take the job? Is he being promised a future position as part of Trump business holdings?

Scaramucci might not want to unpack too many boxes in his office just yet. With the special counsel looking into Trump’s financial connections to Russia, the president will be throwing everyone he can find under the bus.
