Oh, Heavens to Betsy. Here we go again.
We all remember when candidate Donald J. Trump was all huffy and defensive about the size of his manly equipment. After rival Marco Rubio claimed that Trump’s small hands were proof of inadequate anatomy, Trump responded:
“I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee you.”
Huh.
Once again, we find ourselves listening to a right wing braggart claiming that things are much bigger than we’ve been lead to believe.
This time the self-inflation is coming from Milo Yiannopoulos, the well known alt-right bigot. Milo wrote a book and has been hyping it all over the internet.
The book is called Dangerous. It was released on July 4th, perhaps to make a point. And that’s where we find ourselves facing more conflict about size.
You see, a mere 18,268 copies of the book have sold in the U.S. and U.K. combined, according to Nielsen Bookscan. That’s not exactly “best seller” status, as you probably know.
Naturally, in keeping with fringe right wing policy, Milo himself claims that he has sold far more books than are being reported. He claims that over 100,000 books have been sold through pre-orders. Nielsen Bookscan disagrees and sticks to their own figures.
So here we go again.
Another set of “alternative facts” being floated by a bloated uber conservative egomaniac. Another accusation of “fake news.”
Sure, Milo, sure.
You guarantee that its bigger than anyone thinks. We’ve heard that before.
