Trump Goes After Hillary, Comey, Chelsea, And Gets Smacked Down (TWEETS)

If it’s Monday morning and President Trump is desperately hoping to overshadow the incredibly damaging New York Times report which broke Sunday alleging that his son, Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer who said she had damaging information on Hillary Clinton, then you can rest assured the elder Trump will be on Twitter, trying to create a smokescreen.

The president began by parroting an unverified story suggesting that former FBI Director James Comey might have leaked classified information, even though there’s no proof of such:

Next, Trump tried to defend letting his daughter Ivanka briefly sit in for him at the G20 summit while he met privately with other world leaders. Ivanka, it should be noted, was not elected to any position:

It’s sure starting to look like the entire Trump clan is part of the larger conspiracy. Robert Mueller and his team are going to be busy in the days and weeks ahead.
