In Poland, Trump Humiliates The United States Yet Again

At a press conference in Warsaw with Polish president Andrzej Duda, President Trump just couldn’t resist acting like a complete horse’s ass once again, attacking the media, whining about all the money he made for NBC with The Apprentice, and trying to pretend Russia played no role in the 2016 election.

Asked specifically about Russian interference in the 2016 race, the president commented:

“Well, I think it was Russia and I think it could have been other people and other countries. It could have been [that] a lot of people interfered.”

Trump also said “nobody really knows for sure” if Russia played any role in the American election, even though 17 American intelligence agencies have confirmed that Russia did indeed meddle in the process through various means.

Also in the press conference, President Trump was asked about his recent attacks on both CNN and MSNBC. He had this to say about CNN:

“I think what CNN did was unfortunate for them. As you know, now they have some pretty serious problems. They have been fake news for a long time. They’ve been covering me in a very, very dishonest way.”

And then Trump went after NBC, the network that used to broadcast his reality TV show:

“NBC is equally as bad, despite the fact that I made them a fortune with The Apprentice, but they forgot that. CNN has really taken it too seriously. I think they’ve hurt themselves badly, very, very badly. And what we want to see in the United States is honest, beautiful, free, but honest press. We want to see fair press. I think it’s a very important thing. We don’t want fake news.”

What Trump fails to realize is that he doesn’t get to make the determination what is free or honest when it comes to the press. The American public decides that. As for not wanting fake news, that could end if Trump would stay the hell off Twitter, his favorite avenue for spreading his endless lies and conspiracy theories.

Yet again, Trump has humiliated us in front of the entire world. If this is “winning,” why does it feel so much like losing?
