Newt Gingrich Tried To Blame The Scalise Shooting On ‘Vulgar’ Democrats–A Fox Host Shamed Him For It (VIDEO)

If there’s a bigger hypocrite on the face of the earth than former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, I’ve yet to see the person. This is a man who dared to lecture (and impeach) President Bill Clinton for having an affair even though he himself was involved in an affair at the time. The thrice-married Gingrich loves to talk about morality and decency even though he’s a serial adulterer.

Gingrich went on Fox News Wednesday so he could pontificate on the story of the day: The shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and four others at a baseball field in Virginia earlier in the morning, blaming it on left-wing “hysteria” such as what Kathy Griffin did when she held up a likeness of President Trump’s severed head for a photo shoot:

“The intensity on the left is very real. Whether it’s a so-called comedian holding up the president’s head in blood, or it’s right here, in New York City, a play that shows the president being assassinated. Or it’s Democratic leading national politicians who are so angry they have to use vulgarity because they can’t find any common language.”

Yes, if we could all just curse less, imagine how the problem of too many guns in too many hands would be solved overnight! Sounds like a the typical claptrap you hear from the NRA as they try to pretend they have no role in the deaths of thousands of Americans each and every year.

But Fox News host Melissa Francis bravely pushed back on Gingrich, wondering how he could blame the actions of a deranged person on Democrats using vulgar language:

“With respect, though, even if everything you’re saying is true, to talk about it in those kinds of terms, in left and right, right now in the wake of it, does that make sense?”

As is so typical with ideologues of all stripes, Gingrich refused to relent from his ridiculous assertion, declaring:

“If you want to know the truth.”

Once again, Francis tried to argue for unity instead of division:

“But do you rise above it and say…”

The hateful former Speaker would have none of it, snapping:

“No!”

As usual, Newt Gingrich is part of the problem and has absolutely no desire to be a part of the solution.
