12-Year-Old Rape Victim And Child Groom Files For Divorce (VIDEO)

Despite going to jail for raping her 12-year-old student, a 33-year-old woman got out of jail and married her child groom. They’re now going their separate ways after being together for 20 years.

The reason may surprise you.

Child Rapist

Back in 1997, Mary Kay Letourneau went to jail for raping Vili Fualaau. Her sentence was reduced from six to just three months, during which time she delivered their baby. Shortly after being released, she was caught having sex with him yet again and was incarcerated for another seven years.

That’s where she delivered their second baby, making Fualaau a father of two at an age when most boys hit puberty. The two refused to walk away from their relationship though and wed when she got out in 2005.

Fualaau filed for separation last month.

Letourneau, who is now 55, was married with four children when she raped Fualaau. Despite constant criticism from the media, she confessed her love for the underage boy. She also claimed that her husband at the time had emotionally abused her.

About the separation, Fualaau said:

“It’s not necessarily what you think. Everything is fine between us.”

He just wants to sell marijuana.

Cigaweed

Fualaau made money by performing under DJ Headline, where he played shows as a disc jockey. He’s now looking to get out of the music industry and possibly start a marijuana business.

Enter Cigaweed.

Cigaweed makes cigarettes filled with marijuana, thereby allowing you to smoke it without a bong or other paraphernalia. There’s just one problem:

“When you want to get licensed, they do background checks on both parties. If I decide to be a part of it I have to be licensed and I have to be vetted and so does a spouse. She has a past. She has a history.”

Being married to a convicted child rapist kind of puts a kink in legally selling pot. He insists they’re still together, though:

“All the rumors that you hear between us. It’s fine. Of course [we are still in love]. A piece of paper doesn’t break someone’s feelings!”

While he’s suggesting this is the reason for the separation, Letourneau has yet to speak on the matter, although her lawyer did file a motion to dismiss the case for separation.
