Guests On ‘Fox & Friends’ Call For ‘Internment’ Of British Muslims (VIDEO)

In case you were wondering what hysteria and overreaction to a criminal act look like, the airheads at Fox & Friends were only to happy to provide a platform for the airing of disgusting ideas regarding the terror attack that took place in London on Saturday evening.

The first ignorant Islamophobe to appear on Sunday was British politician Nigel Farage, who suggested that British Muslims might be placed into internment camps if terror attacks continued in the United Kingdom. Farage began with an anti-immigrant rant:

“A lot of people have abused the word refugee. The British government, when they were pushed by people like me a few years ago, said they would use the power to stop people who have fought, for example, in Syria from coming back into our country. Over 400 known jidhadi fighters from Syria have come back into Britain and we’ve only stopped one.

“I hope that [British Prime Minister] Teresa May goes a lot further, and says that not one person who has fought in Syria will be let back into our country.”

Then Farage suggested internment camps for Muslims:

“This is now the third terrorist incident that has happened in my country in the space of as many months. And the mood that I get now is we want some real action. We don’t just want speeches.

“And if there is not action, the calls for internment will grow. We have 3,000 people on sort of a known terrorist list. And we’re watching their actions. But a further 20,000 people who are persons of interests, namely they’re linked by some way to extremist organizations. Unless we see the public getting tough, you will see public calls for those 3,000 to be arrested.”

A few minutes later, Daily Mail columnist Katie Hopkins echoed what Farage had said:

It is time for British people to stand up and demand action,” she said. “We need to start incarcerating, deporting, repeating until we clean this country up.

This is the very same Katie Hopkins who, in the wake of the bombings in Manchester, suggested that a “final solution” was needed to solve the problem of terrorism:

Internment camps and final solutions. I’d suggest that Farage and Hopkins read a history book to discover where such ideas led when they were tried in both the United States and Germany during the Second World War, but that supposes either of these hateful idiots has the ability to read and learn anything from any source.
