In recent days, there’s been more than a bit of unwelcome attention focused on President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. But for Memorial Day, his daughter, Ivanka, managed to make news online when a tweet from her lifestyle branding account struck a lot of people the wrong way:

Really? We should celebrate the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom and security by having champagne popsicles? Yes, Ivanka is indeed just like her father: A spoiled rich brat who thinks only about herself.
Lots of people on Twitter let the First Daughter know just how much she had screwed up, and they didn’t mince words:

Ivanka, this is my father. He served 6 tours in Vietnam and doesn't give a fuck about your champagne popsicles today. #MemorialDay #Veteran pic.twitter.com/Aj9xRTWnsF

Fun question: how many trumps have ever served in the military? I'm reading family bio & can't find any. Zero. Not one.

Today is a day to remember the men and women who died to protect the freedoms your father is trying to take from us. Respectfully fuck off.

Yet again we see the reason no Trump should ever be allowed near Twitter. There is one consolation, however: In prison, they won’t be able to access social media. See, things are looking up already.
