You remember Roger Stone, don’t you? He’s the advisor to the Trump campaign who was once referred to as “the man who created Donald Trump.”
The long time conservative strategist and political consultant has been right there with Trump through the campaign, the chaotic transition period and early days of the mistake ridden administration.
Roger Stone has been referred to as a political “trickster.” He is part of the FBI investigation into the ties between Trump and the Russian government.
So it might surprise you to know that Roger Stone is completely disgusted by Trump’s ridiculous show of touchie-feelies with the Saudi royals.
Stone is upset that the President, his President, is busy sucking up to the Saudi royals. He knows that Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s chief sponsors of terrorism. He knows that they are strongly implicated in the attacks of 9/11, but have never admitted their role.

Trump’s advisor and friend was not happy when he saw the images of the President bowing to accept a medal of honor from Saudi King Salman. In fact, Stone was so upset by what he saw that he claimed publicly that it all just made him want to throw up.

I think a lot of Americans would agree with this assessment.
Not only is Saudi Arabia one of the world’s greatest supporters of terrorism, but it is also the country where beheading is part of the “justice” system, where women are kept subservient and where political dissidents are routinely jailed.
It’s not exactly the kind of place where receiving a medal of honor is actually a good thing.
So here we are. In the first few months of the Trump Presidency. We find ourselves agreeing with the likes of the odious Roger Stone, who might be a pal of the Russians, but who at least has the common sense not to honor or admire the Saudis.
What’s that old saying? Oh, yes. “Politics makes strange bedfellows.”
