WATCH The ‘Fox & Friends’ Gang Say Of Roger Ailes, ‘He Saved This Country By Starting’ Fox News

Well, apparently we had a new savior among us and didn’t realize it until it was too late.

According to the eternally brainless simpletons at the Fox News morning show Fox & Friends, the death of former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes at the age of 77 is a great tragedy and a huge loss to the planet.

Really?! It is? I mean, I feel sorry for his family, but I don’t exactly think we need to be lionizing a man who sexually harassed dozens (or would it be hundreds?) of women during the course of his career at the network. He, much like Donald Trump, was a pervert and a sexual predator who should have spent the remainder of his pathetic life in a prison cell. Instead, Fox paid tens of millions of dollars in hush money so the corrosive culture at Fox News could continue and encourage fellow sexual harassers such as Bill O’Reilly.

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt tearfully said this about Ailes:

“Roger believed in hard work. He ran four political campaigns. Many people out there would say that he saved this country by starting the Fox News channel.”

No, he did NOT save the country. Matter of fact, he dumbed down the loyal Fox News viewers and made this country a much worse place, a place where a man as incompetent and corrupt as Donald Trump could be elected to the highest office in the land.

“Roger gave every single one of us on this couch an opportunity. He put food on our table. And you know, he went out in such a sad way. But who doesn’t have sins. We all have our sins and cross to bear. And Roger, we will love you forever.”

Just wondering, Ainsley: Did Roger Ailes give you that opportunity after he stuck his hand up your skirt and looked down the front of your dress? Did he tell you how much he loved blondes with long legs?

There’s an old adage which reads, “Do not speak ill of the dead.” Here’s one I’d like to add in memory of Roger Ailes: Do not make assholes into angels.
