Alex Jones Could Be Getting White House Press Credentials… Seriously (VIDEO)

Conspiracy theorist and friend of President Donald Trump, Alex Jones, and his Infowars network could be getting press credentials. They have been granted a weekly press pass, and a more permanent pass is in the works.

In his Tuesday broadcast, Jones said:

“I want to toot our horn and Mike Cernovich’s horn again. The media is calling for his weekly pass he was given. We’ve gotten those as well. We’re pending getting our regular passes which are very hard to get at the White House with Jerome Corsi.”

Mike Cernovich was granted entry into the White House press briefing on Tuesday where he had an outburst.

Jones said that the press pass would be for their Washington, D.C., bureau chief Jerome Corsi, who was a big leader in the birther movement claiming former President Barack Obama was not actually born in this country.

The White House has not responded to this claim.

This is not the first time Jones has claimed to have White House press passes. He said the same thing in January, and the White House denied it.

In January, Jones said:

“Here’s the deal, I know I get White House credentials. We’ve already been offered them. We’re going to get them, but I’ve just got to spend the money to send somebody there. I want to make sure it’s even worth it. I don’t want to just sit there up there like: ‘I’m in the media, look our people are there.’”

At the time, deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said:

“He is not credentialed for the White House. The White House Press Office has not offered him credentials.”

Jones is an ardent Trump supporter, a 9/11 truther, and a Sandy Hook truther. He believes 9/11 and Sandy Hook were government conspiracies.

Jones is also being sued by Greek yogurt giant Chobani for ridiculous claims that the company imports “migrant rapists.” Stephen Colbert responded brilliantly with his own Jones satire character, Tuck Buckford, going elbow-deep into a tub of yogurt.
