Former AG Sally Yates’ Testimony Contradicts The White House’s Flynn Narrative (VIDEO)

Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates is scheduled to testify before a Senate panel next week, and boy does she have some interesting things to say about Michael Flynn. According to CNN, Yates warned the White House about the former National Security Adviser’s statements about his Russian contacts were not truthful. According to sources, she repeatedly told the Trump administration that Flynn’s actions could get him fired, and she is prepared to say just that during the hearing.

This interestingly differs from the White House’s version of events. The day after Flynn was fired, White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters that Yates only:

“…Wanted to give a ‘heads up’ to us on some comments that may have seemed in conflict with what he (Flynn) had sent the Vice President.”

Yates begs to differ. She wants to tell her version of the events, which is that she directly and firmly warned the administration that Flynn had not only lied to the Vice President, but that his contacts with Russian officials could severely compromised his position.

According to CNN:

“In a private meeting January 26, Yates told White House Counsel Don McGahn that Flynn was lying when he denied in public and private that he had discussed US sanctions on Russia in conversations with Russian Ambassador to the US Sergei Kislyak.”

We haven’t heard a lot about the Congressional investigation into Russian ties to White House officials lately, but prepare for a lot more. In addition to Yates, Senate judiciary panel chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says that FBI Director James Comey and former national security advisor Susan Rice are scheduled to testify.

This hearing was originally pushed back by House intelligence committee Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), which caused a lot of raised eyebrows and accusations that the Republican wanted to protect the White House from damaging revelations. Well, they can’t put it off any longer. Yates is ready to tell her side of the story.

Spill the tea, Sally!
