The delicate little snowflakes who work at the White House absolutely hate it when anyone dares to disagree with or protest against the illegitimate president who was assisted by the Russians in the 2016 presidential race. But rather than do something productive to counter the protests, administration officials on Fox News and whine.
Monday morning it was Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, who appeared on Fox and Friends (alternate title, Dolts and Idiots) to have her say on the Tax Day protests which took place across the country on Saturday. Conway decided to blame Democrats for the fact that people are upset Donald Trump hasn’t released his taxes:
“I would love to hear the new DNC chairman, Tom Perez, Bernie Sanders, the Democratic senator from Vermont, who are going out on the road starting today, and I would love to hear Hillary Clinton, who lost to Donald Trump handily. I would love to hear them come forward as leaders of the Democratic Party and tell the people to stop. They have a right to express their First Amendment beliefs but at the same time, violence is not going to get us anywhere.”
Looks like Conway tried to sneak some “alternative facts” into that mini-rant of hers. So let’s get to the truth:
- Hillary Clinton did not lose to Trump handily. Matter of fact, she got almost 3 million more votes than he did.
- What violence was Conway referring to? The only violence at a Tax Day protest occurred in Berkeley, California, and those were Trump supporters who punched anti-Trump protesters, including men who punched women in the face.
Wes Shockley, one of the organizers of the Tax Day protest in New York, had the perfect reply to Conway and her boss:
“We need to see Trump’s tax returns as a matter of transparency. If we’re going into a tax reform debate, we need to know if what Trump wants to do is going to benefit himself, since he tends to do things that help him and not necessarily others.”
Also, let’s dispense with the bullshit from Trump and his ignorant minions who say no one cares about his taxes. A recent poll shows that 80 percent of Americans–including 64 of Republicans–do indeed want to see what’s hiding in those tax returns.
