GOP Might Kill Trump’s Wall Plans – Can Trump Keep His Great Promise? (VIDEO)

Trump’s plan to build a $21 billion dollar wall on the U.S. – Mexico border just might be crumbling in the hands of his own party.

Reality has set in for the GOP that it is a huge expenditure. In addition, many Trump supporters fear that it would put them on the Mexico side of the wall! Republicans in Arizona and Texas are saying that it could affect trade with Mexico and that they are looking out for the taxpayer.

Representative Will Hurd (R-Texas) and Representative Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) wrote a letter to the White House saying:

“We recognize the need for robust border security and infrastructure to ensure public safety and increase cross border commerce. We also have an obligation to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars.”

Some House Republicans have suggested that immigrants living in the U.S. should pay for the border wall. Representative Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) stated:

“This bill is simple — anyone who sends their money to countries that benefit from our porous borders and illegal immigration should be responsible for providing some of the funds needed to complete the wall. This bill keeps money in the American economy, and most importantly, it creates a funding stream to build the wall.”

Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) spoke out about the potential hostility it could cause between the U.S. and Mexico, saying that if they had an election in Mexico today, it is likely an anti-American president would be elected.

McCain told Homeland Security Secretary, John Kelly, who agreed:

“That can’t be good for America.”

Well that’s one statement on which many of us can agree despite the reasons.

There have also been many proposals as to how the wall should be constructed. JM Design Studio’s idea is probably by far one of the best. They want to line up 10 million 30-foot-tall pipe organs, leaving an open archway every 20 feet.

JM Design says:

“The only requirement is that every person who passes through must spend at least two minutes playing the organs.

How about we not build it at all? It’s starting to seem more likely that it won’t happen. So much for Trump’s big promise!
