Wondering what the President will be doing over the 4-day weekend of Easter?
Will he be working hard to negotiate peace in Syria and the Middle East? Coming up with a solution for unemployment and poverty? Spending time with his wife and son? Well not quite.
President Donald Trump was at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Fla. when asked by the Palm Beach Daily about when he will be back playing golf again. His reply:
“Yes, I’ll be here for Easter”
then confirming his schedule he asked:
“Is Easter next week? Well then, I guess I’ll be back next week.”
Slightly worrying that the most powerful man in the world and ‘devout’ Christian does not know when Easter is.
The whole scenario is actually more worrying when you think about who is behind him making the really important decisions. He has surrounded himself with quite a dubious cabinet – one that has very little regard for education, health, the environment, and the poor.
For Trump to make cuts to Meals on Wheels and at the same time play endless, expensive games of golf and have the taxpayer cover the extra cost for Melania and Barron to live in New York is just another kick in the face.
There is something so insulting about the way the Trump family are wasting money on unnecessary security in the mere hundred days he has been in office.
We all know politicians make promises they don’t keep when they are campaigning, but it seems Trump has taken that to a whole new level.
During his campaign, Trump said he would promote stability in the Middle East, he made out like he was a non-interventionist. He said he would give everyone health care. He said he would not have time for golf. He said he was a Christian. He said he would drain the swamp.
Well Trump voters, you have been officially conned!
Of course there were some promises (Muslim ban) he made that we hope he cannot keep, because they are blatantly illegal and unconstitutional.
So there you go this week sees Trump dropping bombs and playing golf.
