During the Obama administration, Donald Trump constantly criticized the president for going golfing. That’s more than a bit ironic when you consider that Trump owns several golf courses and is a big fan of the game himself.
Another critic of President Obama’s golfing was Sean Spicer, the current White House Press Secretary, who fired off this tweet back in 2012:
Wish I could be on the golf course but have to work – must be nice to be President
— Sean Spicer (@seanspicer) July 29, 2012
Even more ironic is the fact that even though Trump didn’t travel to Mar-a-Lago this weekend, he did manage to play some golf:
Trump left his golf club after 4 ½ hours, about the amount of time it takes to play a round of golf. Pool was told “meetings,” no more info. https://t.co/uoLa4UvKKO

The running count on Trump golfing now stands like this: He has gone golfing twelve times in the nine weeks since he took office. And unlike President Obama, Trump hasn’t accomplished a damn thing in those nine weeks. His Muslim ban has been placed on hold by federal courts twice, he’s under investigation by the FBI, and failed to get the House to pass his repeal and replace healthcare bill.
Others on Twitter had some well-deserved scorn for Spicer, and they dished it out with glee:
Oh hell no.
This man actually tweeted this when Obama was President.
Now, his President golfs more per week than any President in history. https://t.co/RAU4bij4UY

So, Sean, care to expand on your tweet? Damn, the silence is deafening!
