Trump’s Interview With Time Magazine Proves Insanity Has Completely Overtaken Him

For some time now, we’ve all suspected that Donald Trump’s constant lying, penchant for conspiracy theories, and postings on social media might indicate that he’s mentally unhinged. But an interview he just gave to Time magazine proves his mental instability is worse than we could have ever imagined.

In the interview, Trump denied he had ever said anything that wasn’t factual or correct, and repeated some of the same lies he’s peddled over the years. Here’s a look at some of the things Trump said which would seem to indicate that he is far from being of sound mind:

Trump says he’s still credible due to crowd size in Kentucky earlier this week:

“The country believes me. Hey. I went to Kentucky two nights ago, we had 25,000 people in a massive basketball arena. There wasn’t a seat, they had to send away people.”

On claiming that Ted Cruz’s father was linked to Lee Harvey Oswald:

“That was in a newspaper. No, no, I like Ted Cruz, he’s a friend of mine. But that was in the newspaper. I wasn’t, I didn’t say that. I was referring to a newspaper. A Ted Cruz article referred to a newspaper story with, had a picture of Ted Cruz, his father, and Lee Harvey Oswald, having breakfast.”

He still maintains that 3 million people voted illegally in 2016:

“If you take a look at the votes, when I say that, I mean mostly they register wrong, in other words, for the votes, they register incorrectly, and/or illegally. And they then vote. You have tremendous numbers of people. In fact I’m forming a committee on it… We’ll see after the committee. I have people say it was more than that. We will see after we have. But there will be, we are forming a committee. And we are going to do a study on it, a very serious problem.”

FBI Director James Comey is wrong; he knows he was wiretapped:

“I have articles saying it happened.”

Time Magazine is out to get him:

“And then TIME magazine, which treats me horribly, but obviously I sell, I assume this is going to be a cover too, have I set the record? I guess, right? Covers, nobody’s had more covers.”

(Note: Richard Nixon has more covers, and we all know what happened to him.)

He must be doing great, because he’s the damn president:

“Hey look, in the mean time, I guess, I can’t be doing so badly, because I’m president, and you’re not.”

This man has nuclear launch codes in his pocket. How does that make you feel?
