Another story has emerged revealing the true character of President Donald Trump. Liam Payne of One Direction, in an interview with Rollacoaster magazine, stated that his band was once kicked out of one of Trump’s hotels in New York for the pettiest of reasons.
Liam, appearing on the front cover of the magazine told Rollacoaster:
“Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once. You wouldn’t believe it. It was about (meeting) his daughter. He phoned up our manager and we were asleep. He said ‘well, wake them up’ and I was like ‘no’ and then he wouldn’t let us use the underground garage. Obviously in New York we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us. So he was like, ‘OK, then I don’t want you in my hotel.’ So we had to leave.”
He was unable to remember which daughter (Tiffany or Ivanka) Trump wanted them to meet.
Look at what Trump does when he does not get his own way? How embarrassing that a supposed “businessman” would make personal demands of guests at his hotel and then boot them out for refusing. The boys had every right to rest – no doubt they had a demanding schedule. Trump spitting the dummy when he does not get his own way is cringe-worthy. This story illustrates that Trump cannot be told no. He exhibits no professionalism or diplomacy at all.
It is stories like this that reveal a ruthlessness, a coldness that is more than frightening in a world leader. Trump is a man who will punish people who don’t do exactly what he wants, no matter how unreasonable his demands are.
Now he is literally taking food out of the mouths of school children and the elderly to save money and he is also cutting funding to climate change research. All the while he is pumping money into the military.
We don’t want more war, we want the vulnerable to be looked after. Trump is obviously stubborn, but we the people have to show that we really don’t want what he is selling.
