Tom Hanks Feeds The Press And The Resistance With A New Espresso Machine (VIDEO)

Tom Hanks is the hero we need right now. He sent an espresso machine to the White House Press Corps, and they really need the love right now. President Donald Trump has declared war on all of the “fake news” media.

Hanks has sent espresso machines to the agency before, but this one came with a very encouraging note. The typewritten note read:

“Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially for the Truth part.”

The note also included a drawing of some wounded soldiers which was captioned:

“Fresh, spirited American troops, flushed with victory, are bringing in thousands of hungry, ragged, battle-weary prisoners.”

Hanks first sent a machine to the Press Corps in 2004 during George W. Bush’s presidency. He checked on the machine in 2010, and jokingly remarked:

“You know you are supposed to clean this after every use. You are supposed to wipe that off. Look at the buildup there.”

Tom Hanks has been an opponent of Trump since the campaign. After the incident involving Trump’s wanting to grope women, Hanks said:

“He was at work man. He wasn’t in a locker room, he was at work. He was showing up to do a thing on camera.”

“Look, I’m offended as a man. I’m not offended as a husband or a father. I’m offended as a guy. That’s just not right, I’m sorry. It’s not right at work. It’s not right in the locker room. It’s wrong. Period. The end. That’s all.”

Our president blatantly disregards freedom of the press by calling every story he doesn’t like “fake news.” At a press conference in early January, Trump called out a CNN reporter by calling his organization “fake news.”

Recently, the Trump administration has started banning the networks they don’t like from the press conferences, which is likely unconstitutional. He only allows the right-wing news outlets that say nice things about him.
