British PM Hilariously Trolls Trump About Hand Size (VIDEO)

British Prime Minister Theresa May showed off some of her country’s famous sense of humor with a dig at Donald Trump’s hand size. May delivered the punchline at the annual Black and White Ball, a political fundraiser:

“Thank you very much for that wonderful reception… I don’t think I have received such a big hand since I walked down the colonnade at the White House.”

Ooh. Ice cold, Theresa.

May was of course referring to her visit to Washington D.C. in January, where the press photographed the Prime Minister and the President holding hands.

One British publication stated that the two held hands because President Trump has a fear of stairs and slopes, while another claimed Trump was merely trying to be chivalrous.

Either way, May received blow-back from her citizens when she returned to the United Kingdom. Trump is far from popular there. In fact, Trump will likely not be allowed to address Parliament on his state visit, a common courtesy extended to new American Presidents. That is likely a boon for Trump, though, as the House of Commons can be a fast-paced, rowdy atmosphere where public speaking prowess, intelligence, and thinking on your feet serve you well. Trump may have a rough time.

This just continues the ridiculous saga about Trump and his hand size. This is an old tale, actually, dating back to 1988 when a reporter for a satirical magazine called the then-real estate mogul a “short-fingered vulgarian.” Trump wasn’t pleased. The author of the article, Graydon Carter, later said:

“To this day, I receive the occasional envelope from Trump. There is always a photo of him—generally a tear sheet from a magazine. On all of them he has circled his hand in gold Sharpie in a valiant effort to highlight the length of his fingers. I almost feel sorry for the poor fellow because, to me, the fingers still look abnormally stubby.”

How Presidential of you, Donald.
