WATCH Right-Wing Gasbag Tomi Lahren Get Shredded With Facts When She Tries To Defend Trump

If you’ve seen Tomi Lahren opining on whatever right-wing talking point is the topic of the day, then you know she’s a shrill, strident, hate-filled idiot who is under the mistaken impression that her pretend anger makes her right.

Friday night on Real Time, Lahren was cut down to size by host Bill Maher and other panelists by using what every conservative fears most: Facts.

The debate began when Maher cited a survey which showed 32 percent of Americans think that discrimination against whites is as bad as discrimination against blacks. Rather than respond, Lahren tried desperately to change the subject to the protests held this week on the UC Berkeley campus. Maher asked Larhren again if she thought discrimination was as bad for whites as blacks in America, and she finally admitted she did.

Republican strategist Rick Wilson then told the eternally dense Lahren:

“Since I’m a conservative and not a Trump person, let me say this. That’s absurd. That’s fucking crazy.”

Later, Lahren defended the GOP-controlled Congress for rescinding President Obama’s executive order that made it  illegal to dump pollutants in waterways because now coal miners might get their jobs back. That led Maher to wonder:

“Why do they have to cling to the worst jobs ever?”

To that, Lahren replied those are the only jobs people in coal country have ever known. But panelist Jason Kander told Lahren:

“He doesn’t know any coal miners! He knows CEOs of coal companies!”

Meekly, Lahren attempted to claim that coal miners do know Trump because they voted for him in large numbers. But Wilson shot down that assertion by reminding her:

“There’s a kind of hazy nostalgia with Trump’s plan, ‘We’re going to have ironworks and shipyards and coal miners. These are things — we might as well get our buggy-whip industry back together again. It’s this retrospective, fake past that doesn’t exist anymore. And, God bless them, they work their asses off, and you know what, natural gas took their jobs, not Barack Obama.”

As usual, Lahren was easily silenced by merely using facts. For Republicans, facts are akin to crosses and sunlight for vampires. The GOP preys on poorly educated voters with their lies and bogus promises. But the minute you start debating them and using actual proof of their bullshit, they slink away.
