Trump’s Speech At National Prayer Breakfast Devolves Into Insults–Twitter Reacts In Horror

Thursday morning, Donald Trump made his first appearance at the annual National Prayer Breakfast and did manage to make some frightening news when he announced that he believes churches should be allowed to engage in political activity, commenting that his administration would “totally destroy” the Johnson Amendment. That amendment specifies that organizations that endorse candidates or make calls to political action forfeit their tax-exempt status.

Then Trump decided to do what he does so often: Brag about himself and demean another person, telling the audience that the ratings since Arnold Schwarzenegger became the host of the Apprentice are much lower than the ones he had as host:

“They hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place, and we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes, it’s been a total disaster…and I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings.”

Moments after Trump make those remarks, Twitter erupted with derision for the alleged president:

Clearly, Donald Trump has no class, no sense of decorum, and not even a smidgen of goodness or spitituality in him. This man is an insult to all of humanity.
