The Bad Lip Reading crew has become increasingly popular ever since they took their talents from the sports and movie arena to the political stage. This time, the BLR crew tackled the now infamous moments from Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day and what they came up with is both clever and equally riotous.
We previously covered the Bad Lip Reading video of the Democratic debate highlights, and while hearing Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) comment on then-opponent, former secretary of State, Hillary Clinton’s bean-making skills had us in stitches, it pales in comparison to what they were able to do with that awkward moment when then President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama had to pose for a picture in front of the press.
Equally entertaining, was the lip service they gave to Melania Trump and Michelle Obama during the gift exchange that instantly turned Michelle’s face into a top-trending meme.
What I was most impressed with however, was BLR’s successful dubbing of Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s swearing-in ceremony. It featured not only a hilarious script from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, but was able to match with, near-perfection, Mike Pence’s repetition of the nonsensical speech.
Other notable moments include, former Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton telling former President George W. Bush that they were going to “squeeze him,” after Bush commented that “we have a problem.”
Following that, she turned straight to camera and said just how that was going to happen. Here is a hint… Street Fighter fans will be pleased.
Donald Trump walking down the halls, asserting his importance is sure to have you splitting your sides, as well as the moment in which Trump swears that he personally has “puked in a cage fight.”
This time around, BLR did something amazing, they dropped the music from the first dance of the new President and First Lady. If you thought Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” video without music was awkward, you are in for dose of cringe-worthy antics sure to have you cracking up.
There is so much to be said about how good this Bad Lip Service treatment of the Inauguration is, after all it does have over 13 million views on YouTube already, but for now I will just say, have the popcorn and the tissues ready. You are in for a very good time.
