President ‘Let’s Use Couriers’ Wants To Police The Internet (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump is already talking about censoring the internet. We’ve gone from the technology president to the Stone Age president. He thinks we should go back to using couriers, but now he wants to end net neutrality.

What Is Net Neutrality?

According to SaveTheInternet.com:

“Net Neutrality means an Internet that enables and protects free speech. It means that Internet service providers should provide us with open networks — and should not block or discriminate against any applications or content that ride over those networks. Just as your phone company shouldn’t decide who you can call and what you say on that call, your ISP shouldn’t be concerned with the content you view or post online.”

It makes sense that he would try to censor the internet since he tries to censor the press. Trump’s candidate for the FCC commissioner, Ajit Pai, is against net neutrality.

If Trump has his way, we will be having to deal with slow lanes and fast lanes online. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP), will basically be allowed to decide which websites you can go to. Your internet access could get more expensive. The ISPs could easily charge more for faster access. It could mean that companies will have to pay to get into the “fast lanes.”

Trump himself isn’t exactly up on technology issues. When he talked about cyber security on the campaign trail, his lack of knowledge was obvious.

During one of the debates, Trump said:

“As far as the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said. We should be better than anybody else, and perhaps we’re not. I don’t think anybody knows that it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She’s saying Russia, Russia, Russia—I don’t, maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, okay?”

We’ve basically elected your old grandpa who knows nothing about technology. Here are the Young Turks talking about this issue:
