Everyone Listened When Madonna Spoke – Even The Secret Service (VIDEO)

Madonna was among the millions to attend the historic Women’s March this Saturday, and she stirred up some controversy (Madonna is no stranger to controversy, of course) for remarks she made during a speech in Washington, D.C.:

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”

There are two ways you can choose to interpret what Madonna said. Option A) Madonna was expressing her frustration through hyperbole and never actually plotted to attack the White House or Option B) The Queen of Pop really does (or did, at least) have intentions of blowing up the White House and she chose to reveal these very real plans to a crowd of strangers and a battery of news cameras.

You’d have to be a total moron to choose Option B, but the secret service is apparently concerned about Madonna’s comments anyway. The Gateway Pundit reports that a United States Secret Service spokesman told them that an investigation has been opened into the matter.

It’s worth noting that The Gateway Pundit is an amateurish outlet with a conservative slant that’s regularly cited by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, and their website looks like straight dogshit. I don’t want to cry fake news or anything like that, but The Gateway Pundit appears to be the only direct source for this story. So take it with a grain of salt.

Madonna defended her speech on Instagram:

“I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it’s important people hear and understand my speech in it’s entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context. My speech began with ‘I want to start a revolution of love.’… I spoke in metaphor and I shared two ways of looking at things — one was to be hopeful, and one was to feel anger and outrage, which I have personally felt. However, I know that acting out of anger doesn’t solve anything. And the only way to change things for the better is to do it with love.”
