Trump Tweets The Wrong Ivanka And Gets Schooled (TWEETS-AUDIO)

In a funny chain of events on Twitter, President-elect Donald Trump has once again shown he does not really have his finger on the pulse by mistakenly tweeting a different Ivanka. On Monday, Trump was attempting to praise his daughter Ivanka on the social media platform. Instead he tweeted a woman called Ivanka Majic who has the handle @Ivanka on Twitter. He tweeted that she was great and was a woman with real character and class. No doubt Ivanka Majic, who actually received the tweet, was shocked at first. Her reply was absolute gold. See the exchange here:

She then told Trump he was a man with “great responsibilities” and scolded him by saying he should take more care on Twitter and suggested he spend more time looking into climate change, followed by some graphical information showing the consensus among scientists regarding the matter.

While this was the first time Trump himself had tweeted her, Ivanka Majic claims she has had many tweets from his supporters who have also made the same mistake.

This is one of the scariest things about the incoming president. Trump seems to give a lot of attention to trivial and egoistic matters and only minimal focus on issues that really matter, like climate change. Ivanka Majic from Brighton, England was clever to use the opportunity to shine light on the subject.

It is worrisome that reviewing Saturday Night Live and telling people they are losers or over-rated seems to take priority in Trump’s life. If the incoming president really wants to be seen as a great leader, he needs to do great things. At the moment the country is so divided because he campaigned on fear. A great president needs to listen to science and care about ALL citizens, especially the vulnerable.

If enough people, like Ivanka from Brighton speak up with peaceful protest, sign petitions, oppose corporatism, fight racist and sexist laws, then we can still try to affect change. It is simply not fair that just eight people in the world have the same combined wealth as the bottom 3.6 billion people. In fact that is the stuff that revolutions are made of.

This blundered tweet is just another example of Trump acting without real care or consciousness of what he is doing. The savvy reply shows that resistance to archaic policy is world-wide.
