Trump Family Bringing Cheesy Gold ‘Glamour’ To The White House (VIDEO)

President-elect Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, and his oldest daughter, Ivanka, are planning on building some kind of ridiculous “glam room” in the White House. I guess Melania will miss the gold penthouse in Trump Tower.

Nicole Bryl, who does Melania’s makeup as well as Ivanka’s on a few occasions, said:

“There will absolutely be a room designated for hair, makeup and wardrobe. Melania wants a room with the most perfect lighting scenario, which will make our jobs as a creative team that much more efficient, since great lighting can make or break any look.”

Melania isn’t even planning on moving to the White House right away. She wants their son, Barron, to finish his school year before he moves.

Naturally, taxpayers are not happy with this; it’s a silly waste of our money. I thought Republicans were in favor of lowering government spending, but I guess it’s OK when their wives use it for stupid stuff.

The exact plans for the room have not been revealed yet.

Past White House Renovations

The Trump family are not the first ones to do work on the White House. Our first president, George Washington picked the site for the White House. President John Adams moved into the White House in 1800 after construction was completed.

Other presidents added sections after that as well.

President Andrew Jackson oversaw construction of the North Portico in 1824. In 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt oversaw a major renovation of the White House. During his presidency, Roosevelt moved the president’s offices to the new Executive Office Building; it is now known as the West Wing.

Every president has put their own little touches on the White House. President Barack Obama modified the tennis courts in 2009, and the Oval Office carpet was changed as well.

I guess Melania’s renovation won’t be as useful, but it will be expensive just like she likes it.
