In the wee hours of Thursday morning, the Republicans in the Senate gutted the best provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This includes protections for people who have pre-existing conditions, allowing young adults to stay on their parents’ insurance until they are 26, and so much more.
Twitter is full of reactions to this. One hashtag that is trending is #SaveACA.
Republicans have had almost 7 years to think of a replacement plan. This was never about the law, it's about sticking it to Obama. #SaveACA

That Republican repealing the #ACA will result in 37,000 deaths/year and cost $1,000,000,000,000.
Deplorable.#SaveACA

The Republicans shouldn’t be able to call themselves “pro-life” anymore.
