Celebs Hosting Benefit Concert For ‘Liberal’ Charities – Donate To These Worthy Causes (VIDEO)

In 10 days, we will be swearing in Donald Trump as our next president (gag). A large group of celebrities are having a telethon that day to raise money for many charities such as Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and others. They are calling it the “Love-a-Thon.”

If you want to help, here are some charities that you can donate to. We will be on the right side of history.

Women

Planned Parenthood

This organization really needs our help. Republicans have been trying to attack and shut down Planned Parenthood. Many states have been trying to shut down and defund clinics that provide much-needed care for women.

Center For Reproductive Rights

The Center for Reproductive Rights is fighting for reproductive rights everywhere. From their mission statement:

“For more than 20 years, the Center for Reproductive Rights has used the law to advance reproductive freedom as a fundamental human right that all governments are legally obligated to protect, respect, and fulfill.”

National Organization For Women

The National Organization for Women (NOW) fights for reproductive rights as well. However, they also fight for income equality, racial discrimination, women with disabilities, and many more important issues.

LGBT

Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is America’s largest civil rights organization for the LGBT community. From their Mission Statement:

“The Human Rights Campaign envisions a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.”

The Trevor Project

This organization helps provide suicide prevention and crisis services to LGBTQ youth.

It Gets Better Project

This is another charity helping LGBTQ youth. They just want to communicate that it does get better, and we can change the world.

Religious Freedom

Freedom From Religion Foundation

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) is a watchdog group for violations of the separation of church and state. They also publish the only freethought newspaper in the country.

Americans United For Separation Of Church And State

Americans United is another separation of church and state watchdog group. From their About page:

“Americans United represents members and supporters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We come from different religious, political and philosophical viewpoints, but we share a common commitment to church-state separation and individual freedom.”

Gun Control

Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence works to stop gun violence with advocacy and strategic engagement.

Brady Campaign

The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is working to stop gun violence. They want to cut gun deaths in half by 2025.

The Newtown Alliance

After the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the Newtown Alliance formed to try and prevent further horrific incidents.

Everytown For Gun Safety

This group is promising to fight the NRA and the ammosexuals.

Environmental

The Union of Concerned Scientists

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) was founded in 1969 by a group of scientists and students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). They were concerned with solving environmental and social problems.

Green Peace Fund

The Green Peace Fund was started over 40 years ago. It is a science advocacy organization.

Rainforest Alliance

This is another environmental charity. From their About page:

“The Rainforest Alliance is a growing network of people who are inspired and committed to working together to achieve our mission of conserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods. Through creative, pragmatic collaboration, we aim to rebalance the planet by building strong forests and healthy communities around the world.”

Mental Health

Bring Change To Mind

This charity was co-founded by actress Glenn Close. They fight to stop the stigma surrounding mental illnesses.

National Alliance on Mental Illness

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a huge mental illness charity. From their about page:

“NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.”

Racism/Diversity

American Civil Liberties Union

The ACLU is a huge civil rights group founded in 1920. They work to defend all of our civil liberties. We will need them in the fight against President-elect Donald Trump and his administration.
