Has there ever been a more shallow or thin-skinned human being on the face of this planet than Donald Trump? No matter what anyone says about him, he takes it as a personal affront. It’s enough to make you want to grab him by the lapels, slap his face and yell, “Why don’t you grow damn pair, asshole?!”
When Meryl Streep made comments about Trump and his mocking of a reporter with a disability during a speech at the Golden Globe awards, Trump just had to fire back on his favorite social media platform, saying this about the Oscar-winning actress who is widely considered to be one of the greatest performers of the past half-century:
Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn't know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes. She is a…..

Hillary flunky who lost big. For the 100th time, I never "mocked" a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him…….

Director Ron Howard quickly rose to the defense of Streep, sending this back in Trump’s direction:
i hope he earns 4 more years thru honorable unselfish leadership & statesmanship. Please Trump, pleasantly surprise the skeptics https://t.co/3u3sukGZpZ

And Howard also took aim at Trump fans who said today that Streep is an actress, not a political figure, so she had no right to criticize Donnie:
trump used his fame to speak out on issues years before he ran 4 office. why was he allowed & Ms Streep should keep quiet? no hypocrisy pls https://t.co/CrpSCREcrw

Then Howard dropped the truth bomb of doom with this posting:
trump was a reality tv star spouting criticisms of a president & reinforcing the Birther Lie. but now celebs should b muzzled?
— Ron Howard (@RealRonHoward) January 9, 2017
Finally, Howard implored Trump to try and act more presidential:
Trump takes the bait & calls #MerylStreep overrated?! Please Pres-Elect. Don't make this into the WWF which is fun but not presidential
