Toddlers Have Shot Someone Every Week For The Last Two Years! (VIDEO)

What do you have to say about this, ammosexuals?

Last year, we were sickened to learn that toddlers shot someone every single week in 2015. Now that 2016 is over, we have found out that this trend continued throughout 2016. For the last 104 weeks, a toddler has shot someone at least once every week. By toddler, they mean a child under age 3.

It has actually gotten even worse in 2016, the rate of toddler shootings went up six percent. The number of fatalities among toddler shootings as well. In the month of October, 16 of the 39 toddler shootings of 2016 were fatal.

During one of the presidential debates back in October, Hillary Clinton was asked about the 2008 Supreme Court case that got rid of D.C.’s handgun ban. She said:

“Well, I was upset because, unfortunately, dozens of toddlers injure themselves, even kill people with guns, because, unfortunately, not everyone who has loaded guns in their homes takes appropriate precautions.”

One thing that would really help lower the rate of toddler shootings would be to require firearms be locked up when they are in the home. Only 11 states have these laws, of these only the state of Massachusetts requires all guns be stored with a lock.

There have been some particularly tragic incidents this year. In April, a two-year-old in Indiana shot himself after he got a gun out of his mother’s purse. She was questioned, then she was released.

In the majority of the cases, the child shot themselves. At least 25 children have been fatally shot by a toddler sibling since January of 2015. A total of 668 children under 12 were killed in 2016.

What does Donald Trump plan to do about this? He has said this about it:

“We need a Supreme Court that in my opinion is going to uphold the Second Amendment, and all amendments, but the Second Amendment, which is under absolute siege. I believe if my opponent should win this race, which I truly don’t think will happen, we will have a Second Amendment which will be a very, very small replica of what it is right now.”

He thinks guns save lives. He was very proud of his NRA endorsement. Unfortunately, we may not make progress on gun control during this administration.

Here are the Young Turks talking about it for 2015:
