Donald Trump is certainly an interesting person.
This has most definitely been an interesting year. And what a strange, unpredictable election we’ve all been through!
The President-elect, Republican Donald J. Trump, has taken a great deal of heat from both sides of the political aisle.
Many people have pointed out his faults. For example, there is ample evidence that the man is suffering from some form of serious mental illness. He shows every one of the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The huge ego, the constant need for affirmation and praise, the rage reactions to even the smallest perceived slight. These are all signs of his mental instability.
Other people have focused on criticizing Mr. Trump’s lack of a moral compass. They have talked about the thousands of lawsuits in which he and his businesses have been involved. They look at the terrible scam that was known as “Trump University.”
But no one can be all bad, right? I mean, we progressives are determined to “go high” when they “go low.” So now that the election is behind us, we should be focused on finding the good in our new leader.
That’s hard.
People have struggled to overlook the President-elect’s past history with women. They can’t seem to ignore the times he has expressed his lust for his own daughter. They can’t seem to forget the famous p*ssy grabbing moment. All the ogling, groping, fondling, and humiliating of women causes some people to question the character of the man who is headed for the White House.
However, we all know that Donald Trump is a brilliant businessman. He tells us that all the time! He is rich. He is very bigly rich.
Except for those six bankruptcies, I suppose.
At any rate, like it or not, Donald J. Trump is about to become the President of the United States. It’s incredibly important for everyone to find a way to unify, to come together, to throw our support behind our new leader.
No matter what kind of a jerk he is, we need to understand that he won the election. We need to find a way to support him.
