Sketchy ‘Prosperity Gospel’ Pastor Will Lead Prayer At Trump’s Inauguration (VIDEO)

The inauguration team for President-elect Donald Trump has had a hard time finding celebrities to perform at the event; however, there are plenty of religious leaders itching to appear there to lead prayer.

One of them is Paula White,  a “prosperity gospel” preaching pastor from Florida who has known Trump for over a decade.

What Is The ‘Prosperity Gospel?’

This concept is popular among American televangelists. It teaches that God “blesses” the people with the most material wealth. These pastors tell people that if they give enough money, they will be healed, or whatever it is they want God to do for them. They say that the people who give will see a huge return on that “investment.”

About Paula White’s Relationship With Trump

Paula White is the Senior Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida. She will be appealing to God despite the fact that she has been investigated by the Senate for running a scam ministry. Back in 2007, when she was being investigated, Trump said this about her:

“Paula White is not only a beautiful person, both inside and out, she has a significant message to offer anyone who will tune in and pay attention. She has amazing insight, the ability to deliver that message clearly, as well as powerfully.”

Earlier in the year, she started hawking eternal life for the “seed” donation of $1,144. She said this to a congregation one Sunday:

“There’s someone that God is speaking to, to click on that donation button by minimizing the screen. And when you do to sow $1,144. It’s not often I ask very specifically, but God has instructed me, and I want you to hear. This isn’t for everyone, but this is for someone. When you sow that $1,144 based on John 11:44 I believe for resurrection life. You say, Paula, I just don’t have that, then sow $144. I don’t have that. Sow $44 but stand on John Chapter 11:44.”

She has even been called the pastor version of Trump University. She has scammed tons of people; now she will lead the president? Is this a preview of what might come in a Trump administration? This pastor (or any pastor) shouldn’t be advising the POTUS.

Last August, John Oliver opened up an epic can of whoop-ass on televangelists and the prosperity gospel.
