Demanding Answers: Men Sue The CIA, FBI For Russian Hacking Info (VIDEO)

Everyone wants to know what the Russians did to screw up our Presidential election. Everyone wants to know what the CIA knows about what the Russians did. And we want to know what the FBI knows about what the CIA knows about what the Russians did to us.

We all want to know what the hell happened. We are in a very scary place now, faced with a President-elect who shows serious signs of mental illness and a desperate need to be loved.

We all want to know how Vladimir Putin got his claws into that President-elect. We want to know what Putin did and we want to know what Trump knew about what Putin did.

Luckily for us, two American men have turned that need to know into a lawsuit.

Jason Leopold is a journalist and Ryan Shapiro is a PhD candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The two men have filed suit in the U.S. District Court in D.C. seeking information about the hacking.

They are suing the CIA, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, claiming that the agencies have not provided the documents that they requested through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

The two men are asking for any documents that mentioned Putin or the Russian Government. They want documents that were sent to or received from either the Clinton or Trump campaigns, the Democratic or Republican National Committees or the members of the Electoral College.

They are suing to push the agencies to process the FOIA request in order to get the information out to the public as soon as possible.

Now, the Trump camp may to claim that this is a partisan issue. They may say that progressive are just trying to make him look bad. But its important to point out that Mr. Leopold was also part of a FOIA related lawsuit the helped push the release of Hilary Clinton’s emails.

He just wants the facts out there for all of us.

Of course, Donald Trump has refused to accept what everyone else admits to be true. He continues to insist that there was no Russian hacking. He called the whole idea “ridiculous.”

I don’t know about you, but I hope this lawsuit gets somewhere. Fast.
