Secret Service Not Enough? President-Elect Has His Own Private Security Goon Squad (VIDEO)

On Monday, the Electoral College voted and named President-elect Donald Trump the winner of the presidential election. He already has the Secret Service to protect him, but he is keeping his own security as well.

This is not a good idea, experts have told him this:

“Security officials warn that employing private security personnel heightens risks for the president-elect and his team, as well as for protesters, dozens of whom have alleged racial profilingundue force or aggression at the hands of Trump’s security, with at least 10 joining a trio of lawsuits now pending against Trump, his campaign or its security.”

That is where their donations went to. He has been using this private security team during the campaign. He may not keep all of them, but he will still use them when he is president.

The security force is led by Keith Schiller, a retired New York City cop and Navy veteran who started working for Trump in 1999 as a part-time bodyguard. Now, he has ascended to the position of Trump’s head of security.

Jonathan Wackrow, a former Secret Service agent for President Barack Obama, said that Trump is “playing with fire” by going against the experts’ advice.

Wackrow also said:

“You never want to commingle a police function with a private security function. If you talk to the guys on the detail and the guys who are running the rallies, that’s been a little bit difficult because it’s so abnormal.”

Donald Trump spent more than $1 million on security during his campaign. Former Secretary of State and his opponent, Hillary Clinton, spend $360,000. A lot of that went to security at her campaign offices and payments to law enforcement or private security like many other presidential campaigns do.

I guess Trump thinks he may need extra security. Taxpayer money shouldn’t be going to that, though. We are already paying for the Secret Service.
