The ‘Ape In Heels’ Lady Got Her Job Back (VIDEO)

Last month we brought you the lovely little tale of a racist woman in Clay, West Virginia, named Pamela Taylor. You may recall that Ms. Taylor went to her now deleted Facebook feed to spew her hateful message about first lady Michelle Obama.

According to WSAZ News, Taylor posted the following:

“It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady[sic] in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a[sic] Ape[sic] in heels.”

None other than the former Mayor of Clay, West Virginia, Beverly Whaling, responded to Taylor’s message saying:

“Made my day, Pam!”

This of course garnered disgust and outrage among those of us who are not racist a**holes. And that outrage did not fall on entirely deaf ears.

Within a couple of days, Mayor Whaling had resigned with three years remaining on her mayoral term, and her racist pal Pamela Taylor had been suspended from her job as director of the Clay County Development Corporation. And all seemed relatively right with the world.

But not so fast.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reported last week that all is not so right with the world. A letter from the Clay County Development Corp.’s acting executive director says that Pamela “ape in heels” Taylor is scheduled to return to her old job on December 23!

This is appalling.

Taylor originally backpedaled from her Facebook post, telling local news station WSAZ that she understood why her post may have been interpreted as racist, but that it was not her intention.

Of course isn’t wasn’t her intention. White racists have never compared Black people to monkeys as a disgusting means to dehumanize them. And if you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Here’s a video about the original incident:
