Like Father Like Daughter – Ivanka Stands To Make Billions From Shady Deals (VIDEO)

President-elect Donald Trump said he has done us a favor by turning down billions of dollars in business deals. In an interview with Fox News, he said:

“I’m not going to be doing deals at all. I have the right to do it. I just don’t want to do it.”

It’s a snarky way of acknowledging any potential conflict of interest while maintaining a selfish attitude.

While Trump has said that he will have no say in the management of his companies, that will be hard to do given the new leadership. Executives and his own children are expected to run the family business that includes international investments.

Just last month, Ivanka was seen attending a meeting between her father and the Japanese Prime Minister. According to the New York Times, Trump wasn’t just introducing his daughter to Shinzo Abe.

Ivanka has been working on a licensing deal with Japan for quite some time. The retailer she’s dealing with, Samui International, is owned by the Development Bank of Japan. Which is completely owned by the Japanese government.

Using your new role as future president to help your daughter sell products is a huge conflict of interest.

Of course this type of family promotion was happening before Trump won the election. Back in July, Ivanka was seen wearing a light pink dress from her own line of clothing at the Republican National Convention. Her Twitter account quickly seized that opportunity to cash in.

According to the Macy’s website, it’s currently out of stock.

While Trump won’t name names, CNNMoney reported that:

“Trump also said he turned down ‘seven deals with one big player, great player’ last week ‘because I thought it could be perceived as a conflict of interest.'”
